Ron Dayan was not an instant famous interior designer. He studied, worked, and climbed the ladder to become successful in the industry. All his efforts were rewarded through several recognitions and honors.
At 16, he was captivated by the Roman architecture, the
Florence's grand interiors, and the splendid Vatican in Europe. After a year, he helped his family in designing the Mediterranean Villa; the architect was amazed to his work. He graduated with honors at The Polytechnic of Northern London. But, finishing his education did not suffice his desire to learn more. Hence, at 21, he worked for an airline, and was given opportunities to travel to some parts of the world. He saw the great arts of the world's famous artists, like Van Gogh.
When he settled in Los Angeles in 1979, he worked for an architectural firm in interior design and interior decorating. Then, he found other jobs related to designing field. Equipped with knowledge and experience, he established his own interior design company -- the
Piccadilly Designs in 1984. One of his noted celebrity clients is Barry Gibb, of "The Bee Gees".
